Objectives
The objectives of CognitixAI through its research center in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Intelligence Augmentation (IA), will focus on the following objectives:
1. To provide a collaborative and interdisciplinary research environment where researchers from different fields, such as engineering, computer science, mathematics, biomedical engineering, health technology, information security, digital forensics and business technology, can meet, exchange ideas and knowledge, and collaborate on research projects related to applied artificial intelligence.
2. To promote and facilitate the publication of high-quality research articles that present innovative and impactful contributions to the field of applied artificial intelligence and intelligence augmentation by researchers from different disciplines.
3. To organize and host seminars, workshops, and conferences that foster interdisciplinary research and collaboration, bring together leading researchers and practitioners for applied artificial intelligence, and disseminate the latest research findings and technological advancements.
4. To ensure high-quality supervision, mentorship, and training to both graduate and undergraduate students interested in pursuing research for applied artificial intelligence, and to support their academic and professional development through various programs and initiatives.
5. To cultivate a vibrant and supportive research culture that values creativity, innovation, and critical thinking, and that encourages researchers to pursue novel and ambitious research projects.
6. To allow access for researchers, in a near future, to state-of-the-art research facilities and equipment, such as high-performance computing clusters, intelligent robotics and automation systems, and data analytics tools, and to support the development of new technologies and method-ologies for solving real-world problems using artificial intelligence.
7. To set strong partnerships and collaborations with industry leaders, government agencies, and organizations to translate research findings into practical applications, products, and services that address societal challenges and have a positive impact on people's lives.
